Asleep!

IV Sedation

  • We place a single IV to deliver medications that send you off to sleep and keep you comfortable throughout the procedure.

  • You will wake up at the end of the surgery and have no recollection of the surgery

Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)

  • You will breathe Nitrous Oxide during the procedure thru a nasal mask

  • This gas helps to you relax and will reduce your anxiety level, but you are awake throughout the procedure and will likely have full recollection of the procedure

  • Makes some procedures much easier for mild to moderately anxious patients

  • No need to change medications prior to surgery day

  • Eat a light, healthy meal prior to the procedure

  • Can drive home after the procedure
